Bheki Cele, SA Minister of Police, called “a clown”

South Africa’s Minister of Police, Bheki Cele, was called a “a clown”, a spewer of “anti-Black diarrhoea” and other names by the South African public.

Cele was insulted after allegedly suggesting South Africans should be in bed by 9pm after the implementation of Level 3 Covid-19 restrictions.

South Africans have accused Cele of being condescending in the way he speaks to and about Black people; almost as if they are children.

Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) spokesperson Vuyani Pambo said Cele speaks violently to Black people but has kids gloves for Whites.

Currently, South Africa’s Level 3 restrictions require people to be at home at 9pm.

There is no legal or constitutional basis to Cele’s suggestions.
